Bio/Statement : I pursue the representation of magic -- both dark and light -- in still images and kinetic sculptures . The "No Place Like" series of nighttime homes are unclear, defined as much by their shadows as by their limited light sources, and open to multiple interpretations. Large-scale photo mandalas are built out of cigarette butts, discarded water bottles and other roadside trash. The mobiles feature unusual objects that twist and fly, beautiful sparkly glass bits that are sharp and untouchable, birds and flowers that have seen better days.
